About

I'm a perennial entrepreneur experienced in angel investing, digital marketing, real estate investing and software engineering. Some of my entrepreneurial ventures were more successful than others, but I learned a great deal about what makes small businesses successful.

Angel Investing

I provide seed funding and mentorship for startup founders. I have evaluated countless pitch decks and have made a few investments. I have also worked with many startups to provide guidance, especially on building more effective pitch decks and narratives that lead to increased funding opportunities.

The funding I provide is based on my investment thesis.

Digital Marketing

I provide marketing and technical consulting. I help entrepreneurs develop their online presence, brand messaging and growth marketing strategies.

Early Days

I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 10 years old, growing up in Guyana, South America. I ran errands for adults in my neighborhood and rented my bicycle to kids at school. I continued my habits when I came to the United States at the age of 12. I helped family friends with odd jobs, including babysitting, errands and yard cleanup. I even trimmed Christmas trees. Though I didn’t get paid for some of the work, I was not above working for food.

Real Estate Investing

After buying my first home, I began learning about real estate investing, creative financing and foreclosure deal-making. I consumed several books, courses and live seminars. I got immersed in the world of real estate and learned enough to do several deals. After years of investment experience, especially in foreclosures, I felt I could create a better book on making money with foreclosures. Ultimately, I wrote books, taught in-person classes and conducted webinars.

Software Engineering and Cloud Computing

In my professional career as a software engineer, I led a group of coworkers to startup a computer and network engineering firm. Later, I developed an increasing amount of research, development and testing experience in cloud computing. I created materials to help customers, including senior leadership, program managers and engineering staff, make decisions on how to adopt, integrate and secure the cloud, as an extension of their existing infrastructures.

Bottom Line

I enjoy being immersed in entrepreneurship. I enjoy consuming interesting and relevant content. I enjoy finding the patterns and distilling the key nuggets. I also enjoy publishing these results so that my clients could apply them to benefit startups or established businesses. That's who I am. That's what I do.
